X-Ray of a Photo: Luigi Ghirri Color

X-Ray of a photo is a series of 9 hour workshops where I choose an author and we disect its work as if we were X-Ray machines looking beyond the obvious. It’s about learning through the understanding of a group of images and how they relate between themselves specifically in a formal aspect. In this case it was Color. Of course I make it personal, bringing to the table my experience as a graphic and industrial designer, my upbringing as the daughter of a plastic artist and an architect and a whole life of visiting art exhibitions exquisitely curated and presented.

I will develop this post some more next week, bring some of the photos and discussions that we had during the workshop, but now I must leave… Paris and the Paris Photo fair awaits. See you soon!
